Frequently Asked Questions
Schedules and Registration
How does the registration process work for new campers?
Returning campers have until January 9, 2012 to receive priority registration. New registrations received prior to January 9 will be placed in an ordered queue. After January 9, we will begin enrolling new campers on a first-come, first-served basis.
Is there a waiting list?
If there are no spots available, a limited number of campers will be placed on a waiting list. Please
contact the office at 508-785-8250 for more information.
Can my child attend for less than the offered session length?
Nope. CRCAP sessions are 4 weeks long. Creative Starts sessions are 2 weeks long. It’s essential for the curricular success of the child and for the experience of the campers who make up his/her ensemble that the journey of each session is kept intact.
When will information on classes and schedules be available?
All students enrolled in CRCAP are sent a course curriculum guide, which details all classes offered, and a "master scheduling grid,” which shows the times classes are offered throughout the day. 1st session students are sent these materials around May 1, while 2nd Session students are sent these materials around June 1. Students then must provide a 1st - 4th choice of classes for each period of the day and return their selections to the CRCAP office. Classes fill on a first-come, first-served basis.
Creative Starts students select classes that interest them on an ongoing basis during the session under the guidance of their dedicated staff. No preregistration for classes is necessary (or available).
When will my child find out which classes he or she got into?
Schedules will be provided to each student upon arrival, on the first day of the program.
How old do you have to be to audition for the musical production?
Participants in the Production must be at least 12 years old. Many other theater courses are available for younger campers.
Do you offer extended day options?
Yes. We will offer supervised activities daily from 4-6pm for all children enrolled in Creative Starts or CRCAP and for CRCAP campers on the pre-festival half day each session.
A Day At CRCAP
Can my child bring a guest to CRCAP or Creative Starts?

Contact the office for more details.
What should I do if my child needs to arrive late, leave early or stay home for a day?
Please
contact the office at 508-785-8250 by 9:00 AM if your child will be staying home for the entire day. If your child arrives late, please be sure to have him or her check in with the CRCAP Office upon arrival. If your child needs to leave early, please must provide a written, dated and signed note to the CRCAP office.
Can my child miss a portion of CRCAP for another camp or family trip?
Missing any of CRCAP greatly impacts productivity. Participants may not sign up for any classes which will perform at the Arts Festival if he or she plans to miss any portion of the session.
Is CRCAP open on July 4?
No, CRCAP is closed on July 4.
Who can attend the Arts Festival?
